How To: Gel Liner

Image
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday! To coincide with my recent post:  QUICK TIPS| BEST GEL LINER BRUSH  I decided to do a 'tutorial' on how I apply my gel liner and what I like and dislike about using it. This is just the way that I apply it and I don't think there is a right or wrong way to it, so just use this as a sort of tip sheet. The gel liner I have is by collection 2000 in the colour black. To start off I like to apply my mascara first and any other eye make up I plan on wearing. I also tight line my upper lash line using a liquid liner . If your unsure what tight lining means, its simply lining the upper lash line/waterline where your lashes protrude forth. Next I load my thin liner brush up with my gel liner and draw a very thin line from the inner corner of my eye to the outer corner, keeping the line as close to my lash line as possible. Here I take full advantage of the length of the brushes bristles. I angle the brush flat as a pull it across my eyelid. Plac...

A Re-Discovered Favourite | Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair

Image
Hey Beauties! Today I want to share with you one of my re-discovered favourites! This is Schwarzkopf's Gliss Hair Repair Leave-in Conditioner £1.85 from Superdrug. I used to use this baby all the time then for some reason stopped.  I popped in to Superdrug to pick up my mum some hair treats and spotted this, so I picked her one up and myself one. I swear I wish I knew why I stopped using this stuff! Its AMAZING! And I truly mean that! Gliss-Liquid-Silk-Express-Repair-Conditioner-with-Liquid-Keratin-&-Nutri-Silk-for-Brittle-Dull-Hair I LOVE YOU Ok on with why I love this beaut! First of all it sprays out as a fine mist so covers the hair completely. It truly leaves your hair so soft and shiny. The scent stay's in your hair for days - smells like Parma Violets or Love Heart sweets. For the price you can not beat this! 'The Repair-Innovation with Liquid Keratin: The formula specifically targets and repairs damaged areas on the surface and deep inside the hair' 'Th...

Mini-Clear-Out

Image
Hiiii All! Today I decided it would be a good idea to go though a few drawers and my makeup bag and bin some stuff that I don't use or are total rubbish! I didn't end up with loads of stuff but here is what I did end up with! Some nail polishes Miss Sporty Glossy-Tech top coat & Sally Hansen Insta-Dri: Both of these have become incredibly sticky and gloppy with time and are no use anymore, so off to the bin with 'em! The 3 George polishes on the right: The pastel purple has sort of curdled and split - not so pretty The shatter top coat is a load of pants! It doesn't do what it say's just sort of blobs out and makes your nails look a mess & The white polish is quite streaky and I recently bought a Barry M white polish that's much better... So bye bye you three! Superdrug Dry Shampoo - I have never use a worse  product. It doesn't work at all. I gave it 3 try's on 3 separate occasions and nothing! It sprays out as you would imagin then sits i...

B.Naked-Lightly Hydrating Foundation

Image
Hello again! Today I bring to you my thoughts on B.'s Naked Foundation £8.99 now £5.99 from Superdrug. I've been using this foundation on off now for about 5 months. I was after a light coverage foundation and this is very light coverage. It comes in a glass bottle with a plastic pump that you have to be a bit weary of. If your not too careful you'll end up with foundation on the floor. The pump is a bit stiff -  well on my one it is - and as you push it sort of shoots out! So keep your hand tilted and close to the pump when pumping some product on to the back of your hand. It has a quite a strong perfumy scent that you may or may not like - reminds me of talc and something else. The colour I have is number 020 Rose Ivory  which is the palest shade I believe, it actually matches pretty well with my skin tone.  Evidence of its shooting capability, and yes it did end up on the floor. Looking incredibly pale on my tanned hand, but... ...it blends in pretty well, but do...

New Goodies #1

Hello world! So over the last week or so I've picked up a few new makeup goodies and have been trying them out.  So cutting to the chase here's what I've bought & what I think! B. Precise Gel Eyeliner in Chocolate 012 £4.66 - Superdrug Barry M Touch of Magic Lipstick in 324 £4.49 - Superdrug Barry M Khol Pencil in Bronce 28 £2.99 - Superdrug Soap & Glory Supercat Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen £6.00 - Boots (my arm looks really dirty but its just fluff from our new towels...lovely I know) Barry M Touch of Magic Lipstick   I first heard about this from the latest issue of DARE the Superdrug magazine, and knew I had to try this! On application this lipstick feels smooth, silky and moisturising. It has a waterproof formula with nourishing aloe vera. Your lips natural alkali level determines how pink your pout will go! Its such a nifty little lippie. Every time I've used it my pink has been a different shade. From a deeper red/pink to a bold bright pink. I'v...
