Gel Pro Polishes by George

Image
Hi Guy's As you may know I'm bit of a nail polish fiend and have a whole tub full of the stuff! When if comes to polish all I want really is a few good days wear and cracking colour. Today I'm sharing three Gel Pro polishes by George at Asda. All three I think are nice autumnal shades, I think we are still in autumn? Or have we past that now?  Any way the gel pro's are meant to be like gel manicure polishes offering up high shine and long wear-ability. They cost just £3 and you can pick them up while shopping around for your groceries.   The three shades I have are from left to right: no.10 Putty Pink, no. 04 Nude Beige and no.09 Nude Pink. Nude Pink is my favourite of the trio, its just a perfect...nude pink shade that doesn't class with my skin tone. Putty Pink covers really well in just one coat while Nude Pink and Nude Beige definitely need a second coat. Two coats later and Nude Beige could use perhaps a third coat. Once I have my optimum amount of coats applie...

Foundation Review | George Mousse Foundation

Image
Like everyone else I'm always looking out for the perfect foundation and so I'm willing to give anything ago whether it be the cheapest of the cheap or something a bit more high end. This foundation I'm reviewing today is the Asda own brand George Skin Perfection Mousse Foundation. Information Brand | George @ Asda Product | Skin Perfection Mouse Foundation Shade | No.1 Porcelain Size | 20g Price | £6 but I bought it at introductory price of £3 Would I re-purchase | Yes! So let me start off by saying I was pleasantly surprised with this foundation. It comes in a little glass tub with a black plastic lid. When I purchased mine there were only two available colours porcelain and ivory beige. I recently checked the website and it now shows another two shades natural beige and honey beige,  so four in total.  When buying foundations I always opt for the lightest shade even though I'm olive toned all foundations oxidise on my skin making them darker so the lighter I go the...

Get Ready With Me: Christmas Party

Image
Christmas is getting closer and closer guys! Sunday just gone (15th) I had my work Christmas Party, and so I thought it would be fun to have a go at a 'Get Ready With Me' post. I love watching these sort of videos and thought I'd give a go at translating it in to a post! So here it is! So lets start out with the face! To start out I primed my face with my Garnier 5sec Perfect Blur . Once all lovely and blurred I applied a thin covering of my Avon Ideal Flawless foundation, then a thin layer of my B. Naked  foundation to keep my colouring as natural as possible. Once dry I used my Mac Pro Longwear concealer brought out for special occasions or when my skin is particularly bad, to just hide any blemishes. Finally I set all this with a sweep of my Maybelline Fit Me! powder.  To colour my cheeks I used my MUA blush in shade 1 on the apples of my cheeks. For lips I used one of my favourite lipsticks the Barry M Magic Lipstick, I also topped this with a NYC lip gloss in a b...

Mini-Clear-Out

Image
Hiiii All! Today I decided it would be a good idea to go though a few drawers and my makeup bag and bin some stuff that I don't use or are total rubbish! I didn't end up with loads of stuff but here is what I did end up with! Some nail polishes Miss Sporty Glossy-Tech top coat & Sally Hansen Insta-Dri: Both of these have become incredibly sticky and gloppy with time and are no use anymore, so off to the bin with 'em! The 3 George polishes on the right: The pastel purple has sort of curdled and split - not so pretty The shatter top coat is a load of pants! It doesn't do what it say's just sort of blobs out and makes your nails look a mess & The white polish is quite streaky and I recently bought a Barry M white polish that's much better... So bye bye you three! Superdrug Dry Shampoo - I have never use a worse  product. It doesn't work at all. I gave it 3 try's on 3 separate occasions and nothing! It sprays out as you would imagin then sits i...
